The Seauba

UNITED STATES PATENT PENDING

a Continuous Air Underwater Breathing Apparatus aka the Deep Water Snorkel

PAGE UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Seauba Purpose: The primary purpose of the Seauba is a continuous fresh air underwater breathing apparatus, designed to allow the Operator (diver) to perform maintenance, inspections and repairs on a vessel’s running gear; usually the rudder, propellers, prop shafts, and associated equipment. Additionally, the Seauba can be used for maintenance, equipment inspections and repairs to the underwater portions of structures such as docks or sea walls. The Seauba is designed for operation at water depths down to approximately 5 feet in fresh water or salt water. The running gear of most small, medium, and large vessels are at depths of 3 to 4 feet beneath the water surface.
Seauba is a unique tool that provides a lot capability...
The Seauba provides you the capability to perform emergency repairs or routine maintenance on your running gear whether at sea, anchor or at the dock. The common running gear problems of fouling with lines and barnacles are easily diagnosed and solved without having the expense of a professional diver and tow services. Within a few minutes, you are inspecting your running gear and removing the fouled line and scrapping off the barnacles causing vibration and loss of speed.
Seauba is all you need... Just attach the Seauba air hoses to your vessel, connect the Air Pump to the Power Source (12 vdc or 120 vac), put on the Seauba Mask and you ready inspect your running gear.
Seauba Safety... The Seauba allows you to go to water depths of five (5) instead of holding your breath. Breathing witht the Seauba is natural because fresh air in continually being pumped to you. If operations is at a depth of 1.5 foot or less, you can breath air directly from the atmosphere. The Seauba utilizes two twelve (12) air hoses that all you to dive to your running and ythe twin hoses provide 'equal pull' on the swim mask. The air hoses are lightweight and of large diameter 5/8" which float on the water surface avoiding entanglement with the diver and running gear. Only Fresh Air is pumped to the diver because an oil-less air pum is used eliminating the possibility of breathing air laden with oil molecules. The air pump is a low pressure, high volume pump and not risk of high pressure leaks and explosion injuries. The Seauba provides approximately 15 minutes dive time. Because the Air Pump is oil-less, the air pump needs to be cooled after 15 minutes of operation. Cooling time is approximately 15 minutes. If more time is needed and there is no time for cooling, simply hook-up another air pump...hook-up takes under three minutes, and you are good for another 15 minutes. Having two pumps provides you with the ability to dive almost continually by simply changing out pumps every 15 minutes.
The Seauba Components... The Seauba Standard Equipment Seauba Swim Mask with twin twelve (12) foot floating air hoses. Low Pressure, High Volume Oil-less Air Pump in 12 vdc or 120 vac configurations Note: 12vdc Air pump requires a 12vdc power source. Hose to vessel attachment line.
